Recipient of the Outstanding Continuing Education Award from the Association for Continuing Higher Education
Winner of the LERN (Learning Resource Network) Best Programming Award
We have worked diligently to construct a program that meets the needs of the veterinarian, veterinary technician and veterinary physiotherapist.
The certificate program in canine rehabilitation is a sequence of postgraduate courses for veterinarians, physical therapists, and veterinary technicians, followed by a supervised clinical experience and a cumulative examination. The courses are designed to guide the practitioner through the theoretical foundations to the clinical applications of canine rehabilitation.
The University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine, and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, Department of Physical Therapy cooperatively oversee this curriculum. The program has separate curricula for veterinary and physical therapy professionals (some courses will be taught together and some separately) to better meet the needs of the participants.
Details to the actual course date can be found here >>
